Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash, card, and digital payments while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Process purchases efficiently and issue receipts or refunds when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cash register area.
- Reconcile daily cash balances and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and improve overall customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cash handling.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in handling cash registers and basic computer operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
